J on's granddaughter, Riley Seaburg, is the 13th generation to share the bloodline of the Foote's from Nathanial.
A career in the moving and s t o r a g e
business started in 1972 as an estimator and thirty years later finds Jon as the sole owner and President of American Van and Storage Systems, Inc. in Windsor and Hartford, Conn.
In 1971, Jon married Jennifer Johnson of Rocky Hill, Conn.. They have two daughters, Laura and Julieanna, who live in the greater Hartford, Conn. area.
Laura made Jon a grandpa one year ago. She also works in the moving business with her father and mother. Granddaughter Riley is at the moving company most days being pampered by grandma and grandpa, plus the employees and Aunt Julieanna who swings by for lunch nearly every day.
His hobbies include the enjoyment of antique cars - especially 1960's "muscle cars", boating, fishing and the
stock market.
Jon and Jennifer joined the Foote F a m i I y Association in 1984 at the rededication of the Foote monument. While there, Jon was incorrectly nominated to
be a member of the nominating committee, incorrectly because there was too many on the committee.
Since then he has served a Vice President, President, Treasurer and now Trustee.
The Foote Family Association of America has been an enjoyable experience for him and he looks forward to catching up with the fine people he has gotten to know at the reunions.
